Sweet-tooth Tuesday; YIPPEEEE— Sprinkles NYC is getting a 24-hour Cupcake Automat (ATM) at 3 separate locations (Downtown, Midtown and UWS)!!
OMG, my prayers have been answered! Sprinkles Cupcakes will now be available 24 hours a day through a “wave-of-the-future” cupcake ATM!!! How awesome is this?!?! Now, you can have a delicious, fresh Sprinkles cupcake whenever the spirit moves you (even if it’s 3 A.M.!! Pregnant women across Manhattan are breathing a *sigh* of relief while their husbands are making sure they know the closest 24-hour ATM location!!) We’ll keep you posted on where those Cupcake Automats, said to be up and running by summer, will be located! Here’s a sweet little video of how it’ll work:
In other somewhat related (yummy) news, OREO cookies is celebrating it’s 100th Birthday today!! Happy Birthday, OREO!!! Nabisco invented “milk’s favorite cookie” in the Chelsea Market building in NYC and sold it’s very 1st Oreo cookie on March 6, 1912 in Hoboken, NJ. Taking it’s “RE” from the world “cream” (for it’s cream filling) sandwiched between the 2 O’s from the word “cookie”!!!! Today, Kraft sells 70 million Oreo cookies every day, making it the world’s most popular sandwich cookie!!! YUMMY!!!
